Send What You Have
A photograph of the nameplate and one wide shot down the front of the lineup is enough to begin. If the nameplate is illegible, photograph the gear anyway and we will work from the construction, the bus and the breaker frames.
Receive a Firm Offer
We respond with a committed cash figure, usually the same day. It is an offer rather than an estimate, and it does not move afterward.
Schedule on Your Terms
Pickup is arranged around your outage window, plant shutdown or building access hours. Where a utility disconnect must happen first, we coordinate the timing.
We Pay, Then We Haul
Payment is completed before anything moves. Our crew performs the teardown, the section separation, the rigging and the loading, and our truck removes it.

Selling Switchgear: Common Questions
Straight answers
What kinds of switchgear do you buy?
Low voltage and medium voltage switchgear, switchboards, panelboards, motor control centers, unit substations, metal-clad and arc-resistant lineups, outdoor gear, busway and bus plugs, loose circuit breakers, and scrap-grade structures. Distribution equipment is all we buy, which is why we can price it better than a general equipment dealer.
Do I have to test the switchgear before you make an offer?
No. Testing is never required. We evaluate a lineup ourselves from photos, the nameplate and our own inspection at pickup.
Who pays for freight and rigging?
We do. Freight, rigging, cribbing, section separation and permits are our cost and are already built into the offer you receive.
When do I get paid?
Before anything leaves your property. Our offers are cash offers and are not contingent on us reselling the equipment.
Will you buy just one section?
Yes. A single switchboard section is worth a call. We also buy entire electrical rooms, plant lineups and liquidation lots as one purchase.
Do you buy gear that is still energized and in service?
Yes, and most of what we buy is. Tell us the situation and we will coordinate the disconnection timing with your electrician or the utility, then handle the teardown and rigging ourselves.
Do you buy switchgear that is burned, flooded or stripped?
Yes, as scrap-grade purchases priced on copper, aluminum and steel content. Do not assume that is what you have, though. Sellers routinely scrap lineups we would have paid several times scrap price for.
