Send a nameplate photo and a wide shot of the lineup and receive a firm number, usually the same day.
Funds change hands before a single section leaves your property. There is no consignment and no waiting on a downstream resale.
You are never asked to test, energize, clean or repair the gear. Our team evaluates it from the nameplate photos and our own inspection.
Lowboys, flatbeds, cribbing, section separation and permits are billed to us. That cost is already priced into the offer you receive.
Disconnection coordination, dismantling, rigging out of the electrical room and loading are performed by our crews at our expense.

Condition we accept
A dealer who buys all surplus equipment has to price your lineup conservatively, because it is one line item among hundreds. We buy switchgear every week, we know what a given amperage and voltage class is worth to the next owner, and we can commit to a firm cash number immediately.

What we do not buy
Switchgear and the distribution equipment beside it is the entire scope. We are not the right buyer for generators, loose conductor, machine tools or general plant surplus, and we would rather say so than waste your time.

Straight answers
Do you buy anything other than switchgear?
Switchgear and the distribution equipment that sits alongside it in the same electrical room: switchboards, motor control centers, panelboards, breakers, busway and unit substations. That narrow focus is exactly why we price it better than a general surplus dealer or a scrap yard.
What is the smallest lineup you will buy?
A single section is enough to get a quote. Small panelboards and individual breakers usually make the most sense combined into a lot so one pickup covers everything you are clearing out.
What is the largest?
Full plant lineups. Metal-clad medium voltage gear up to 38kV class and low voltage bus into the 5000A range are routine, and we buy entire electrical rooms as a single purchase.
Do you buy switchgear that is still installed and energized?
Yes. We quote it in place and coordinate the disconnect timing with your electrician or the utility before we send a crew.
