Send a nameplate photo and receive a firm number, usually the same day. There is no obligation.
Funds change hands before a single section leaves your property. There is no consignment and no waiting on a downstream resale.
You are never asked to test, energize, clean or repair the gear. Our team evaluates it from the nameplate photos and our own inspection.
Lowboys, flatbeds, cribbing, section separation and permits are billed to us. That cost is already priced into the offer you receive.
Disconnection coordination, dismantling, rigging out of the electrical room and loading are performed by our crews at our expense.
What we look for in panelboards
Panelboards are the smallest equipment we buy, and individually they are modest. In quantity they add up fast, and quantity is exactly what a gut renovation or a multi-building demolition produces. A contractor with forty panels staged on a loading dock has a real transaction on his hands.
Distribution panels, branch panelboards, loadcenters and column panels are in scope, with or without the branch breakers still clipped in. Panels with breakers are worth substantially more, because the breakers are what sell. Mixed manufacturers and mixed amperages in one lot are fine.
If you are stripping a building and the panels are coming out along with switchboards or switchgear, quote everything together. The panels ride along on a truck we are already sending, which means the number we can pay for them is better than it would be as a standalone pickup.

Panelboards: common questions
Straight answers
Do you buy panelboards in any condition?
Yes. Preferred. Whole buildings quoted as one lot. We do not require testing, cleaning or repairs.
How do you decide what to offer?
Amperage, voltage class, manufacturer, bus material, breaker type and overall condition, weighed against what that specific combination is worth on the resale market right now.
Who handles removal?
We do, at our cost. That includes disconnection coordination, teardown, section separation, rigging, permits and freight.
How fast can you pick up?
Usually within a week or two of agreeing on a price, and faster if you have a hard deadline like a demolition date or a lease expiration.
Selling panelboards?
One section or a full lineup. Call or text.
