Send a nameplate photo and receive a firm number, usually the same day. There is no obligation.
Funds change hands before a single section leaves your property. There is no consignment and no waiting on a downstream resale.
You are never asked to test, energize, clean or repair the gear. Our team evaluates it from the nameplate photos and our own inspection.
Lowboys, flatbeds, cribbing, section separation and permits are billed to us. That cost is already priced into the offer you receive.
Disconnection coordination, dismantling, rigging out of the electrical room and loading are performed by our crews at our expense.

Why Florida sellers call us
Switchgear gets retired for a handful of predictable reasons: a service upgrade, a change of building ownership, a plant closure, a gut renovation, an arc-flash study that condemned an obsolete lineup, or a demolition where the electrical room is the last thing left standing. In every one of those cases the owner ends up with several tons of awkward, energized-yesterday equipment and no obvious way to convert it.
Scrapping is the default, and it is usually the wrong call. A scrap price reflects metal weight minus the yard's hauling cost. Our price reflects what the lineup is worth to somebody who needs that amperage, voltage class and breaker type, which for serviceable gear is frequently several times the scrap number. We also buy genuine scrap-grade equipment, so there is no downside to asking first.

Straight answers
How much of Florida do you cover?
All of it. We list 526 Florida cities and towns, and we buy outside those too — the list is for navigation, not a limit on our service area.
Do you charge for pickup or freight?
No. Freight, rigging, cribbing, section separation and permits are our cost, and they are already accounted for in the offer.
What size gear do you buy in Florida?
Everything from 100A panelboards up through 5000A main switchgear and 38kV metal-clad lineups. Small panels are best sold as a lot; a large lineup is worth a call on its own.
Will you buy switchgear that has sat outside for years?
Yes. Surface rust, faded paint, a pried-open door or standing water in the bottom of an enclosure do not disqualify a lineup.
Switchgear to move in Florida?
One section or a whole electrical room. Call or text.
