01You Are Paid Before It Moves

Funds change hands before a single section leaves your property. There is no consignment and no waiting on a downstream resale.

02No Testing Is Required

You are never asked to test, energize, clean or repair the gear. Our team evaluates it from the nameplate photos and our own inspection.

03We Cover Freight and Rigging

Lowboys, flatbeds, cribbing, section separation and permits are billed to us. That cost is already priced into the offer you receive.

04Our Crews Handle Teardown

Disconnection coordination, dismantling, rigging out of the electrical room and loading are performed by our crews at our expense.

What we look for in bus plugs and busway

Busway is the overhead distribution running down a plant aisle, and bus plugs are the fused or breakered boxes that tap power off it to feed a machine. Both are strong resale items, because a plant with an existing busway system can only expand it with matching components, and matching components for a discontinued system come from the used market.

We buy straight lengths, elbows, tees, crosses, end closures, reducers and plug-in units. Copper busway is worth more than aluminum. Plug-in busway is worth more than feeder busway because it has more resale uses. Bus plugs sell individually and quickly, especially in the common 30A through 400A sizes.

When a plant is being cleared, busway is often the last thing anyone thinks about because it is up in the ceiling and out of sight. It is also frequently the easiest thing to sell. If you are already having us look at switchgear, have someone look up.
