Send a nameplate photo and receive a firm number, usually the same day. There is no obligation.

Or call 954-740-1983. Photos of the nameplate and the full lineup get you the fastest, firmest number — text or email them anytime.

01You Are Paid Before It Moves

Funds change hands before a single section leaves your property. There is no consignment and no waiting on a downstream resale.

02No Testing Is Required

You are never asked to test, energize, clean or repair the gear. Our team evaluates it from the nameplate photos and our own inspection.

03We Cover Freight and Rigging

Lowboys, flatbeds, cribbing, section separation and permits are billed to us. That cost is already priced into the offer you receive.

04Our Crews Handle Teardown

Disconnection coordination, dismantling, rigging out of the electrical room and loading are performed by our crews at our expense.

What we look for in arc-resistant switchgear

Arc-resistant switchgear is built to channel the pressure and gases of an internal arcing fault away from anyone standing in front of it, using reinforced structures, pressure relief flaps and an exhaust plenum. It costs substantially more new than standard gear, and that premium carries straight into the used market.

We buy Type 1, Type 2 and Type 2B accessibility ratings in both low and medium voltage. The plenum and ducting matter: a lineup with its exhaust plenum intact retains its arc-resistant rating path and is worth more than one where the ducting was cut off during removal. If the plenum is still on it, leave it on it.

Because arc-resistant gear is relatively recent, most of what we see is current-production equipment from a facility that changed its plans rather than end-of-life equipment. Cancelled projects, downsized data center builds and never-energized spares are the best cases and get our strongest numbers.

Arc-Resistant Switchgear: common questions

Straight answers

Do you buy arc-resistant switchgear in any condition?

Yes. We buy new gear that was never installed. We do not require testing, cleaning or repairs.

How do you decide what to offer?

Amperage, voltage class, manufacturer, bus material, breaker type and overall condition, weighed against what that specific combination is worth on the resale market right now.

Who handles removal?

We do, at our cost. That includes disconnection coordination, teardown, section separation, rigging, permits and freight.

How fast can you pick up?

Usually within a week or two of agreeing on a price, and faster if you have a hard deadline like a demolition date or a lease expiration.
